About Bay House Early Education

At Bay House Early Education we believe relationships with children and families are our first priority. All of our Educators are genuinely committed to building a rapport with our families which is evident in the comfort and security our children express with all of our Educators regardless of which ‘room’ an Educator works in. Parents select our Child Care Centre because we love, care and respect all families and their children regardless of their religion, culture and personal beliefs.

Bay House Early Education Cleveland has been established in the Redlands for many years with many generations of families having entered our childcare service. We pride ourselves on being a family owned and operated daycare service with friendly and welcoming Educators. We offer a personal hands-on service were all Educators know the names of parents, grandparents and siblings that visit our Centre each week.  Our Educators are known for their supportive, professional and knowledgeable nature, many whom are long serving, dedicated Educators at Bay House.  It is always a positive sign when many of our Educators own children are enrolled at the service, when Educators care for children as if they were their own and listen to families needs concerning their child/children in the service. We are lucky enough to have two Directors and one Assistant Director ready to assist and support Educators and parents in their roles throughout our busy days.  Not every Child Care Centre has a Licensee that is frequently on premise, actively involved in the Centre on a weekly basis and has individual contact with Educators, children and families at the service.

In relation to the educational aspect of Bay House Early Education our primary focus is that every child’s emotional needs are meet first. We believe that children need to feel safe, secure, comfortable, and happy in their environment to learn most effectively. We offer a curriculum that is challenging, encourages children to investigate, make choices, take risks, negotiate, ask questions, solve problems and develop conflict resolution skills.

Of course there is also the more formal aspect of our learning environment and facility. Which includes the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework, including principles, practices and outcomes to form our curriculum to extend and enrich children’s learning from birth to five years and through the transition to school.
